The brand was created in 2003 by designer Jorge Bischoff and soon lived up to its consumer's expectations. As a consequence of its creative strategies and its focus on constant evolvement, the brand has established a solid franchising system, which started in 2008, and now has over 60 stores operating in Brazil. In addition, its multi-brand store selling system takes the brand's products to great international showcases in over 50 countries.

The group is driven by FASHION, DESIGN AND BUSINESSES. The Bischoff group gathers the brands Jorge Bischoff and Loucos & Santos, as well as a number of other projects.

At the company's headquarters, located in Igrejinha (in the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul), a qualified professional structure is responsible for the research and development of products and exclusive raw materials. The production process is outsourced to partners possessing state-of-the-art know-how, who combine the latest technological advances with Rio Grande dos Sul's century-old tradition in shoe manufacturing. It is the combination of these particular features that ensures the excellence of the Jorge Bischoff products.


Jorge Bischoff network has over 60 stores throughout Brazil. The brand has started its internationalization project in 2013, with the opening of the first exclusive store in Uruguay. Today, there are two stores in Uruguay and one in Cuba, at the exuberant Varadero beach resort. In turn, its multi-brand store selling system takes the Jorge Bischoff products to great national and international showcases in over 50 countries on every continent.

The designer

Renowned as one of the major footwear designers in Brazil, Jorge Bischoff is the CEO and the person in charge of setting the guidelines to all divisions of the company – from strategic planning to creative development. Born and raised in the Southern Brazilian State of Rio Grande do Sul (where there is a strong tradition in footwear manufacturing), he started his career at a very young age.

Because of that he managed to experience a great variety of factory sectors which now allows him to make use of the expertise acquired into the company he runs.

The brand's internationalization project started in 2013, with the opening of the first exclusive store in the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo. Currently, the city has two fashion spaces with the Jorge Bischoff signature. They are located in the districts of Carrasco and Punta Carretas. In 2015, the third exclusive international store was opened at the exuberant Varadero beach resort, in Cuba.
